Born in Dmitrovo-Cherkasy village of the Tver region. In 2015 he has graduated from the Khanty-Mansiysk branch of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, docent M. Paskhalsky’s class. Since 2011 he is the soloist of the Moscow musical theatre Helikon-opera, where in the age of 22 he made his debut in the part of Onegin in the opera “Eugene Onegin” by P. I. Tchaikovsky.
At the moment Aleksey has impersonated more than 25 parts in the theatre’s repertoire. In 2013 Aleksey became one of the finalists of the tv-project “The Big Opera Competition” (TV-channel “Kultura”). Also he is the frequent guest in the popular show “Romantika romansa” in the TV airtime of this channel.
TV-channel “Russia-Kultura” has accomplished several repository recordings of Helikon-opera performances: “Eugene Onegin” by P. I. Tchaikovsky, “Sadko” by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, “Mazeppa” by P. I. Tchaikovsky, where Aleksey has impersonated the title parts.
In 2014 and 2015 Aleksey took part in such festivals as “The Days of the Slavic writing”, “Spasskaya Tower” and “Conversion of Rus'”. Together with The Central Military Band of the Ministry of Defense the soloist gives concerts in all corners of our vast country. Chief conductor of the orchestra – S. Durygin. General V. Khalilov also was at the conducting desk.
Aleksey Isaev repeatedly took part in the P. I. Tchaikovsky Music Festival in Klin, where he impersonated the parts of Onegin and Mazeppa. At the same festival he performed together with the outstanding soprano K. Stoyanova and pianist D. Matsuev, at the conductors A. Sladkovsky. Many times, he was performing on the stage of the Moscow philharmonic (the part of Renato in “Un ballo in maschera”, in the part of Germont “La Traviata”, the part of Nabucco in “Nabucco”). In the same place he took part in the New Year concert with Y. Bashmet. Also, with the maestro he has impersonated the part of Onegin (“Eugene Onegin” by P. I. Tchaikovsky), in the framework of the festival “Opera near the walls of the monastery” in Sergiyev Posad.
For several times he was performing in the “Moscow concert hall ‘Zaryadye’”, where in the Helikon-opera’s shows he has impersonated the part of Aleko (“Aleko” by S. Rachmaninoff), Escamillo (G. Bizet’s “Carmen”) together with Elena Obraztsova foundation (at the conductor’s desk – maestro Jan Latham-Koenig); the part of Gryaznoy from the opera “The Tsar's Bride” by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov (at the conductor’s desk maestro Vladimir Fedoseev).
In 2018 Aleksey was awarded by the special prize “For brilliant start in art” from the Elena Obraztsova foundation. The award was allotted on the José Carreras Grand Prix opening ceremony in the presence of Maestro himself.
In 2019 he made his debut in the Mariinsky Theatre, where he has impersonated the part of Count di Luna (“Il trovatore” by G. Verdi). Soloist’s performances took place on the lots of world stages: “Estonia Theatre”, Tallin (Gryaznoy from the opera “The Tsar's Bride” by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov), on the Birgitta Festival in Estonia (Renato in “Un ballo in maschera” by G. Verdi), on the “Saaremaa opera days” festival in Estonia (Nabucco in “Nabucco” by G. Verdi; Yeletsky in “The Queen of spades”, at the conductor’s desk maestro Vladimir Fedoseev). Also, on the Saaremaa was held the world premiere of the unique show “Mr. Georg Ots” staged by Dmitry Bertman and dedicated to the G. Ots, where Aleksey has impersonated the part of the KGB Agent. The President and the prime minister of Estonia have attended the premiere.
The soloist took part in the opera festival in Riga, Latvia (the gala-concert directed by A. Žagars); in the international opera festival in Bangkok, Thailand (Renato in “Un ballo in maschera” by G. Verdi, Escamillo in “Carmen” by G. Bizet); in the opera festival of the outstanding tenor Peter Dvorský (the Czech Republic), has performed in Bolshoi Theatre of Uzbekistan in Tashkent (Gryaznoy, “The Tsar's Bride” by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov), in the State Opera and Ballet Theatre “Astana Opera” in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Onegin in the opera “Eugene Onegin” by P. I. Tchaikovsky); on the “Montecatini Terme” festival in Italy (concert, at the conductor’s desk maestro F. Mastrangelo); in the “Theater an der Wien” in Vienna, Austria (Mazeppa in “Mazeppa” and Robert from the opera “Iolanta” by P. I. Tchaikovsky); in the opera house of Wiesbaden, Germany (Iago from the opera “Otello” by G. Verdi); in The Semperoper in Dresden, Germany (Lord Enrico Ashton in the opera “Lucia di Lammermoor” by G. Donizetti); in the opera house of Bari in Italy (Onegin in the opera “Eugene Onegin” by P. I. Tchaikovsky).
